Lunch:   Chicken Alfredo with Roll, Loaded Baked Potato with Roll, Deli Sandwich, Fiesta Salad with Roll, Broccoli, Tossed Salad, Veggies and Dip, Cupped Fruit, Fresh Fruit, and Milk.

Due to potential rain next week, the Heritage High School baseball tournament that was scheduled for April 7th and 8th has been moved to April 6th and 7th.  The games will still start at 4:00 p.m.

Due to the significant impact of snow days on our collective concert preparation in Band and Chorus, the Spring Music Concert has been postponed until May 7th at 6:00 pm.  We look forward to seeing you then!

After Prom Tickets are on sale now with Mrs. Watson in the School Counseling Office.  $10 for each ticket will get you a chance to go tubing at SnowFlex BUT ALSO to food, games, and PRIZES – there will be a 65 inch TV, cash prizes, iPod, iPad, Laptop, GoCams, and so much more – you have to be present to win these REALLY COOL PRIZES!!!!!  Stop by and get your tickets today!! 

The last day for After Prom tickets is April 17th – after that, tickets are still $10 but no guarantee of a t-shirt; then they are $15 at the door.

Reminder for seniors to turn in your bio sheet directly to the Times Virginian by May 1st.  It is your responsibility to submit a baby picture to the newspaper.  Your senior formal will be submitted by Mrs. Rothgeb.  The sheets are in the main office to pick up.

Any senior who would like to retake or makeup their senior cap and gown picture needs to sign up with Mrs. Rothgeb by Friday.  We will only have a retake day if there are enough people interested.

The home track meet that was scheduled for April 3 will take place on Thursday April 2nd

The boys JV and Varsity Soccer games that were cancelled on Friday March 27th have been rescheduled for this Friday April 3rd.  JV game starts at 5:00 p.m. and the Varsity game starts at 6:30 p.m.

Senior Baby Pictures and Group Pictures from Primary, Elementary, Middle, and High School need to be turned in by April 3rd.

Senior History needs to be turned in by April 3rd.

 Senior Class t-shirts will be on sale April 13-17th during all three lunches. One shirt is $15 and two are $25. Money is due at the time of the order.

 

Prom picture order forms are in the main office.  Bring your money and order form the night of prom.

The next French club movie night will be this Friday, at 6pm in room 322. Please get $5 for pizza to Mrs. Langett as soon as possible if you are planning to attend.

We are on an extended schedule through April 17th.  As always, students who need to leave early will need to sign out in the main and have a note.  All student workers will need a note and a verification schedule, from their employer on the days that they need to leave. All students must sign out in the main office.

Scholarship Applications for CVCC  - This year the CVCC Educational Foundation will be accepting scholarship applications through our new online application program. The program can be accessed through the new online application program through the webpage gocvcc.edu/scholarships. Students will need to follow the instructions listed. This program will streamline the scholarship process and make it easier for students to track the status of the application and award. All scholarship application will be processed monthly on a first-come, first-served basis until all funds are exhausted. See Mrs. Ramey, if you have any questions.

 

2015 Mary Blackwell Barnes Memorial Scholarship - Virginia Women in Public Finance has a scholarship program that provides, annually, up to five recipients with a scholarship in the amount of $1000 to $5000.  To qualify and apply for the Scholarship, the applicant must, at a minimum: Be a female student attending a Virginia or District of Columbia college or university in the fall of 2015; have an interest in pursuing a career in finance, government, nonprofits, or public law; and complete and submit application no later May 31, 2015.  Visit website at www.virginiawpf.org to download scholarship application and then send to:

Prom 2015 tickets are going on sale for juniors and seniors during all three lunch shifts as well as after school in Mrs. Langett’s room.  Prices and dates are as follows: $35 for weeks of March 9 – 17;  $45 for weeks of March 23 – April 3;   $50 for Week of April 13-17.  Ticket sales end on April 17.

Athletic Passes 2014-2015
The following athletic passes are offered for purchase this year.  Students must purchase a pass for $25 which will allow them entrance to all home athletic events.  (Note: school IDs will not be used as passes)
·          ACPS Student Pass - $25 (year)
·          Family Year
o    $175 - up to 4 household members
o    $25 for each additional member
·          Individual Year - $75
·          Family Season
o    $100 - up to 4 household members
o    $25 for each additional member
·          Individual Season - $40
·          Senior Citizen – Complimentary (62 and older)
